Friday April 29, 2005 Bathing and Buying and B... Piano-ing! Greetings, everybody! We hope you guys are having fun with the new additions in Test Center. And if you haven't seen them yet, or would like the scoop on them, well. Here you go! The first additions people will notice are the new cash registers. In essence, these objects just provide a more formal version of two-person trading. The owner of the cash register waits around until a customer clicks it. Then, if the owner accepts, a trade window is opened and animations and the like continue. Here are pictures of the four cash registers available...  The cash registers can be located in the Miscellaneous section of Buy Mode. The other portion of the update included the addition of some new plumbing appliances. The new items include a sink, a bathroom stall, two shower-tubs, and a four-tile bathtub. These can be found in the Appliances section of Buy Mode, along with the other plumbing items. And, as always, we have added the new items to the Buy Mode Objects Catalog of the site. Feel free to browse to your heart's content! One final addition, one which is not related to the latest patch, is our new Piano Music Guide. You may have noticed it for a while now. We just forgot to formally introduce it until now. Oopsie! The guide includes the names, composers, durations, and skill levels in which certain songs play on TSO pianos. In addition, you can listen to the songs that are played. So if you can't get enough of those practice scales, or prefer to listen to Joplin's upbeat rags, go right ahead and listen! Hope you guys enjoy! And keep up the happy Simming! |

Thursday April 14, 2005 War Game: Get them while they're hot! The long-awaited War Game object that first appeared in Betaville many months ago has finally made its appearance in production cities and Test Center. This logic skill building object can be found in the buy mode catalog under the Skill and Job Objects category for 5,000 (10,000 in Dragon's Cove). Of course, it is always cheaper to purchase it at a store lot. The catch is, this object will be available on April 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th only. After these dates, the object will disappear from the catalog forever... So log in now and purchase your own War Game!
