Known to Hawaiians as the "Hau" plant, the rest of the world refers to it simply as a Cottonwood Tree, with some Brits holding out for "Beach Hibiscus." No matter what you call the weed, remember that it likes moist areas and needs little or no watering. Make up a myth about the heart-shaped leaves...every other culture has.
